No worries! I like to hear other people’s headcanons for the new trolls. I think a lot of people who think they’re ancestors is because of the whole “post-scratch guardian/kid swap” fiasco and that it seems like it would be the most likely theory. I’m honestly not sure who those trolls could be since the new Pieces troll backs up the idea that she could most likely be the Condesce, due to what we can see about her nature - however the Scorpio troll seems to be much less a candidate for Mindfang since it seems like the general idea for her nature seems lighthearted and sweet (the fact that she’s wearing the Sufferer symbol reinforces that good nature). Whoever they are, it really adds to the mystery of where Homestuck is going.
Personally, I think that these trolls are the ancestors in a sense, but some sort of strange paradox space dream bubble version of them, since both trolls who have been seen have blank eyes. Who knows. I’m honestly more about waiting to see who they are rather than theorizing about it :3
